"An Anthology Of Negro Worksongs Compiled By Alan Lomax". On back cover, cat.nr. reads "NJL 11" and on labels it's printed at "NJL.11" Original recordings made at Mississippi State Penitentiary, Parchman, USA, 1947. First release was distributed with rice paper inner sleeves and contains a 4-page fold-out insert with background to the tracks and lyrics. Fully laminated flipback cover [see images. Mono release, not stated on cover. Runouts are stamped, except side A 'B' and side B 'C' are etched.
