Although there is no date or year of release on the album, the prize of "Grand Prix Du Disque Paris" was awarded probably in 1967. In the Billboard issue of February 24, 1968 there is a story and photograph of this album showing the same sticker on a different USA cover, but with the same logo "Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft" and also a reference and picture of the 1967 movie "Elvira Madigan". So it is reasonably to assume that this release is no later than 1968. Also the catalog# places it in these years.

Also the album is a reissue because the music was released prior to the movie in which it was used and the front cover of this release shows a still from that same movie.
